Hello to whoever cares!

I have a lot of regrets, but one of the main ones is not actively improving my art skills for the past four years of high school. When I was fifteen, I illustrated a children's book, which helped me improve my skill a lot. BUT that was about it. Since then, I've been out of the habit of drawing, and when I DO draw, I only draw what I already know how to draw. I have not expanded into learning things like perspective, figure poses, or just plain old everyday objects. Not practicing anything other than faces has made me extremely lopsided in my drawing ability, and I am sick of it.

So, I am challenging myself to draw new stuff. One of the main ways I will do this is to start making a bunch of thumbnails for a webcomic that I have been thinking about for a while. I will thumbnail as much of it as possible, slowly improving my skills in the areas that I mentioned without feeling an obligation to make everything perfect. I am hoping that by the end of sketching the thumbnails I will be confident enough in both my drawing skills and the story that I've created to be able to start actually drawing and posting the actual webcomic.
